- From the Higashi Bypass: Turn onto Rt. 103 towards Kumamoto Airport. Hotakubo Orthopedic Hospital is approximately 500m down on the right, just before the Nishibaru Post Office (西原郵便局) on the left.
- By bus
- Take a Kyushu Sanko Bus (九州産交バス) that passes through Hattanda (八反田) (Bus Nos. 鹿4, 鹿5, 子14, 子15, etc.). Get off at the Nishibaru Yubinkyoku-mae (西原郵便局前) bus stop.
